Power 11 Configuration and Quote Validator

Check the model tier, IBM i release, HMC, performance basis, and feature inventory before a Power 11 quote is treated as complete.

What could invalidate the Power 11 quote?

A model number can be correct while the configuration is still wrong. This validator looks for the software, management, performance, memory, storage, I/O, and feature-code gaps that should be resolved before approval.

How the result is produced: Software and HMC compatibility are hard readiness signals. Measured CPW or rPerf and a complete feature inventory add quote-readiness points. Unknown or legacy inputs move the result toward remediation.
Limit: This validator does not certify an IBM or reseller configuration. IBM e-config, current sales manuals, support matrices, and the exact feature-code list remain authoritative.

Sizing is part of configuration validation

Power 11 earned visibility across model pages, HMC requirements, CPW and rPerf, licensing, DDIMM, and feature codes. That is one decision system. A useful validator keeps those pieces together instead of turning sizing into an isolated calculator.

A high fit score means the inputs are better documented. It is not IBM approval and it is not a reseller quote.
